We were happy with our Vietnam experience

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Vietnam holiday. In fact, I have suggested this destination to some relatives and friends. And because we were satisfied with your service, we have recommended that they book with you, as well.
Unfortunately, there were some minor problems like the transfers. We did not arrange this with you hoping we could save if we just take a cab. However, in addition to the language problem, the taxi drivers in HCM and HAN airports both tried to overcharge us. After this experience, I have suggested that these airport transfers be arranged wtih you as well since your rates are reasonable.
Lavander Hotel is ideally located in HCM because it was just a few meters from the Market. The room assigned to us was excellent except that it did not have a window. I suggest that this is clearly declared when you confirm the booking. Their buffet breakfast that came with the room was delicious.
My Splendid Star in HAN was not located on a major street and we were surprised when the taxi driver told us that we had to walk down the alley because his cab cannot go thru the street. Again, this information should have been disclosed at the time of booking/confirmation.
The family-run hotel was gracious enough to give us the suite even if we booked only a regular room. This was because I specified a room with window. We had a rather unpleasant experience on our way back to HAN airport. We arranged the airport transfer with the hotel and paid this the night before our departure. Unfortunately, we did not ask, nor did he give a receipt for the payment. While in the cab, the driver told us that we have to pay him for the transfer. After several phone calls, the hotel staff apologized for the mistake. It almost ruined our Vietnam holiday. Over-all, we were happy with our Vietnam experience and promised to go back to visit other provinces.
